Yudan Sezu ni Ikou!

While I wasn't originally enthusiastic about participating in the run, Oshitari's charity event was well organized and did remarkably well. I'm sure all those recovering from injuries will appreciate your hard work, Oshitari.



The other day I went to do some photos for a new advertising campaign. It was clear they had seen pictures from the run as their ideas for the new commercial they want to shoot in the summer all involved me in significantly less clothing than usual. I'm hoping my manager can convince them that me actually wearing the clothes would make a better campaign.



With the hotter weather, it means tennis season is finally in full swing. I hope the team keeps motivated in the heat.

A happy belated White Day to everyone. While not a White Day present, I did recently receive a beautiful sakura bonsai. The blooms have only just started so I expect to enjoy them for quite some time soon. Thank you Atobe to the the generous person who gave me this. It's a gift that is greatly appreciated and will be well looked after.

Is anyone else in the area interested in bonsai as a hobby?



Atobe, I will be away on Monday and Tuesday. I have some promotional work in the Himeji area that I'm obligated to attend. I trust that you and our coach will be able to handle practice without me for those days.


ooc: Strike is deleted out of kindness since he thinks that Atobe may want it to be kept a secret as he didn't leave a card. But Tezuka says it's obvious who the bonsai and the other two trees are from.

I feel that since the holidays the team has taken a step back in terms of motivation and skill... I will be talking with the coach about creating a new training plan. Atobe, would you like to join in on the discussion as the captain?


Echizen, when would you like us to do dinner with Horio-kun? I have found a dining partner to bring and need to coordinate our schedules. I suggest we avoid the Valentine's Day weekend.



I do hope everyone is taking care. I've been seeing more people in face masks and hearing more coughs in classes lately. I hope it's not a sign that a bug is making the rounds. It does feel as if we're overdue for the flu to appear.

Congratulations to the Hosei tennis team. Between your previous tournament and now, I feel you have all come a long way on strength, stamina and technique. I hope this proves to you all that hard work does pay off. But let's not get careless. The next match will be a challenge.

I find it difficult to watch and not play but I suppose it's not that much different from when I was placed in singles 1 and the match ended before that. And it's still satisfying to see a team I worked with do well.

To make sure everyone on the tennis teams stay motivated and try their best, I have arranged for the winning team of the round robin tournament at the end of camp to have dinner with my coach. He has coached Olympic athletes and numerous pros. I'm sure the experience will be educational for whichever team wins. The dinner will be held in early January.


Also, I am planning on going for a light morning hike walk around the hotel before breakfast if anyone would care to join me.

My name's Tezuka and I'll be studying International law at Hosei. I will also be starting as the assistant coach for the tennis club.  I hope that we can get all get along and have a good year.





Lastly, does anyone know where the local home center is located? If not, I will order the last of my furnishings online but it is nice to see them in person if possible.
